This tour is not a simple "Wellness Offer" as much as an opportunity to enjoy this
spas and thermal waters in the context of a cycling holiday. Every night you will stay where you can
bathe or swim in the curative waters. There is a saying
in Hungary that all you have to do is push a stick into the ground to reach the thermal water rich
in minerals and trace elements. Thanks to this natural phenomenon, and with more than,Hungary is a
world leader in spa vacationing.
All Hungarian spas have chlorine-free mineral pools of varying temperatures of 80-100 degrees
Fahrenheit (28-38 Celsius). Different temperature basins suitable for bathing and swimming. Cycle
and enjoy the healing waters of Hungary!
Day 1 – ARRIVAL IN BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – Arrival to
the Hotel of Budapest in your organisation. Overnight stay in our contractual hotel in
Budapest.
Day 2 – DOBA-PUSZTA / BEREK-SPA– After breakfast the driver/guide of the
back-up van will welcome you at 8:45 AM in the same hotel. (Meeting point: hotel reception)
Route briefing and luggage loading. The transfer
van/bus takes you collectively near Szolnok (at the River Tisza). Handing over the bikes and
information material. A beautiful stretch (nature reserve) on the dike lies ahead. River
crossing by cable ferry boat. Through calm villages
until you will reach Kunhegyes. Short van/bus transfer to the hotel. Fun in the thermal
spa/swimming pool. /Hotel for 2 nights/

Day 3 – THE LAKE TISZA AND TISZAÖRVÉNY – Time for visit in Kunhegyes,
afterwards you cycle in the direction Lake Tisza, cultural and natural landscape of World
Heritage. Beyond the barrage is the second largest
lake in the country. Again a beautiful, "nature-full" cycling stage. This day's destination is
the boat-harbour Tiszaörvény. In this region "Puszta" gush effective thermal waters.

Day 4 – BIRD RESERVE IN THE NATIONAL PARK – Cycling towards the strictly
protected bird sanctuary of Lake Tisza. You can explore the wild and romantic water world by
boat (guided tour). The Tisza embankment is
all around well paved, so it is easily "rideable". Arrival in the region of the riding and
herdsman life. In horse stud farm will bred the fabulous Nonius-breed. Time for bathing,
swimming and relaxing.

Day 5 – WILDLIFE PARK HORTOBÁGY – On this day you can book and do a tour with a
“Puszta-Taxi” (=covered horse carriage). Take a varied journey to see the horses, gray cattle,
spiral-horned sheep and the typical
draw well of this region. The largest continuous natural grassland of Central and Western Europe
is ideal for birds and unique plants. Continuing towards to the environment of Hajduszoboszló
(Nádudvar), a popular place for small
game hunters and mainly for open-air thermal-bath fans. Pleasant bath adventure here – if you
want it!

Day 6 – BICYCLING, RELAXING, THEN BUDAPEST – Visit in Hajdúszoboszló, where the
largest open-air thermal spa of Hungary is located with 17 pools, swimming- wave- spring- and
thermal pools. Opportunity to swim and
maybe for a walk. Transport together to the River Tisza embankment for the continuation of the
easy day tour through Hajduszovát: the last kilometrers/miles of your bicycle tour on the calm
dyke. Finally bathing-fun-option in Kaba
(or later in Tiszaújváros) with their well-cared, pleasant & local open-air spa. Slowly, you say
goodbye to "Haiduk" region and to the Puszta. The van/bus takes you to Budapest late afternoon.
